About Devon-Rex
Devon Rex is an incredibly smart cat, very active, many people call her cats in a fur coat. They love to jump, height and different buildings. A healthy cat will spread to everything that happens in the house in which he lives. They go everywhere they need to get to. Conduct, meet the owners, be sure to check the bags, conduct lessons with the child.
Representatives of Devon-Rex become attached to their owner and expect the same from him! Unlike many cats, Devon Rex are easy to train, you can walk with them on a leash, teach them tricks: jump, sit, give a paw! They love to be with their owner, attentive and sociable.
They are quite unpretentious, do not require frequent processing and
health problems are rare, but it is necessary to follow the mandatory recommendations for strengthening and proper nutrition, as well as monitor the active nutrition of the pet.
The Devon Rex is highly intelligent, the breed has a taste for its wavy coat and large ears, reminiscent of elves or aliens.

The body is muscular, medium build with a broad chest. Silky wool gives velvety, gives great tactile pleasure. Devon Rex are relatively small cats, males up to 4.5 kg and females up to 3.5 kg. Life expectancy is 10-15 years. It should be noted that the breed is often associated with hypoallergenic animals because of its coat type. However, this is not the case, since allergens are present in saliva, although it should be noted that there will be no problems with wool in your home, since the coat of cats is poorly developed, and its hairline is represented by a well-developed undercoat.

The Devon Rex breed was bred in 1960.
The founder of the breed is a wild, curly-haired cat who lived in an abandoned mine near Buckfastleigh, a small town in Devonshire in the southwest of England, which by the way borders on Cornwall, the homeland of the Cornish Rex.
The founder of the Devon Rex breed, having mated with a domestic short-haired cat, gave several kittens. One of whom, a brownish-black boy, had the same short, curly coat as his father.
This kitten, who found the woman Beryl, named Kirli, which means curly in English. As early as 1968, the first Devon Rex was imported to America. And in 1972, the ACFA became the first US association to accept the breed for a championship. The CFA only accepted the Devon Rex for the championship in 1983.
